Our Benefits

Brink's Home Security's benefits program offers valuable protection for you and your eligible family members. We are committed to ensuring that Brink's Home Security remains an employer of choice.

Medical Plans

Brink's Home Security offers a comprehensive medical plan that provides two medical plan options. Each medical plan option provides a wide range of medical benefits. The Choice Plus offering includes prescription drug (retail/mail service) and vision coverage. If elected, medical coverage becomes available on the 31st day of active full-time employment.

Dental Plan

Brink's Home Security offers a versatile dental plan, which provides employees the ability to access any dentist. The flexible plan offers a choice of two networks or the option to go outside the network. If elected, dental coverage becomes available on the 31st day of active full-time employment.

Vision Plan

The company offers a vision plan providing employees with a national provider network. Vision coverage becomes available on the 31st day of active full-time employment if coverage is chosen.

Basic Life & AD&D Insurance Plans

The company provides fully paid basic life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) to eligible employees without employee contribution.

Spousal Life Insurance

The company offers employees the opportunity to provide life insurance coverage for their spouse at group rates through payroll deduction.

401(k) Savings Investment Plan

The company offers a 401(k) Plan to give you a way to build your financial future.  The Plan allows you to save up to 30% of your eligible pay on a pre-tax basis. You will receive company matching contributions of 125% on the first 5% of pay you save with the plan. The Company match is fully vested after five years. The 401(k) plan becomes available on the 31st day of active employment.

Employee Assistance Program

Brink's Home Security provides eligible employees and their immediate family members with an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). The benefit plan offers employees and their eligible family members access to professional counselors 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Counselors are available to discuss personal and/or work related issues. The information discussed with the (EAP) counselors is strictly confidential. The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) becomes available on the first day of employment.

Tuition Reimbursement

Brink's Home Security will reimburse an employee's educational costs if you qualify and successfully complete an approved course curriculum at an accredited university. The maximum benefit available to you for tuition reimbursement is $4,000 per calendar year ($2,000 for part-time employees). Educational assistance will be provided to all full-time and part-time employees who have been employed and are on active status for at least six months.

Paid Time Off

Brink's Home Security recognizes the value of time off to attend to personal business and observes a Paid Time Off (PTO) policy, which applies to all full-time, and part-time hourly non-exempt employees.

Vacation

Brink's Home Security offers vacation time off with pay to eligible employees to provide opportunities for rest, relaxation and personal pursuits.

Direct Deposit

Employees may have their pay directly deposited into their bank account(s) and will receive an itemized statement of wages when Brink's Home Security makes direct deposits.

Flexible Spending Accounts

Brink's Home Security offers two flexible spending account options, which allow employee's to set aside money for reimbursement of health care and dependent day care expenses on a pre-tax basis. Our flexible spending account partner offers three reimbursement options; via check, direct deposit or through the FlexDirect Card (a secured Visa-branded debit/credit card). If elected, Flexible Spending Accounts become available on the 31st day of employment.

Brink's Home Security System and Monitoring Discount

All regular, full-time employees qualify to have a premium security system installed in their home at no cost, and pay prevailing extra equipment fees, after having been fully employed with Brink's Home Security for six months.
