IRVING, Texas (February 12, 2007) – Rod McDonald has joined Brink’s Home Security as vice president and general counsel of the Irving, Texas-based company. McDonald replaces Chris Cage, who has become general counsel for the U.S. division of Brink’s, Incorporated.
McDonald joins the security alarm company after nine years at Pizza Inn, The Colony, Texas, serving most recently as general counsel and corporate secretary. Previously his positions included interim chief executive officer and assistant general counsel.
Prior to Pizza Inn, McDonald held corporate counsel positions at the Leather Center, Inc., Carrollton, Texas and TCBY Enterprises, Inc., Little Rock, Arkansas. He began his law career at the Third Division Circuit Court in Little Rock.

McDonald earned his JD at the University of Arkansas School of Law. He holds a BS in Accounting from Louisiana Tech University.
